This bear was made as a special gift for a little boy whom I have never met. Robear is made out of Pendleton wool mill ends, which I washed before I made the bear. The black pieces are thick, cotton velvet. This little boy's father left his mother before he was born. So, I thought the little boy should have something very special early on in his life.
