The words of this hat were first printed onto a fabric transfer sheet with my ink-jet printer in an image manipulation program. Then I ironed the fabric transfer to a heavy cotton fabric. The background of the words is made with a fractal image, generated by a little, free fractal generator on my computer. All of this made a sturdy, shiny fabric that did not fray. I then cut the words out and hand-stitched them to the hat with gold thread.
