My father's father, Virgil, my grandfather, hand-made this bookcase and kept it in his own "creative room," upstairs in his home, for many years. He used to paint pictures of roses, pink and yellow, in there. Now, I am so pleased to be able to keep this bookcase in my own "creative room," which is also upstairs! This houses some of my favorite children's books as well as all of my theology and writing reference books. I rescued and adopted the stuffed animals from thriftstore bins. After a good wash and dry, they came out looking spiffy! I was too poor, when I was growing up, to own this many stuffed toys. Now, I am enjoying these!
