This was a free-form design experiment. I did not draw out the design ahead of time, although I did draw and paper-cut the patterns for the small pieces individually. I love the irregular border on this tiny piece. It is only about the size of a sheet of typing paper. It won a blue ribbon in a small store quilt show, but I am not sure what I think about that. It was the only entry in its class!
