I designed and made a matching pair of these cushions for a good friend of mine. I drew and paper-cut the patterns for the figures myself, and she then arranged the figures on the red background as she liked. She also chose the fabric in the figures. This cushion was all made out of luxurious upholstery and heavy curtain fabrics. I washed the fabrics first! This made them softer and easier to handle, and my friend, since she has kitties who will sit on these cushions, can now wash them on a gentle cycle in her washing machine. My friend has a lovely home full of antiques, and these cushions fit perfectly into her dining room!
